Dear Jeff,
I was just getting ready to make a recipe from your "Frugal Gourmet
Cooks American" cookbook. I realized it had been a LONG time since
I've seen your shows on PBS. Some of my
favorite recipes from that cookbook include, "Emily's Chili,"
"Corn Pudding," and "Cranberry Roast Pork."
I've been watching you since I was about 8 years old. I credit
you and Julia Child for nuturing my love of cooking. I learned how
to chop an onion properly, make homemade stock,
never to use a metal utensil in glass jars, and that wine cooks out
of cooked recipes by watching your shows.
Mistakes happen, for heaven sakes when will people learn to forgive?
It's time to move on and put the past where it belongs - in the past.
It's time to come back.
You are beloved by thousands and thousands of your fans. Please
know we all miss you. Your style and your personality cannot be duplicated.
Thank you for inspiring me and my love for cooking from an early age.
I have a respect for food and believe having a love for food can bring
people together.
I'm a big fan of FOODTV. Perhaps you can begin again with a new
sponsor?
God bless you and your family!
"I bid you peace - bye - bye."
