Why did your cooking show go off the air?
I've heard rumors, but
don't know what the truth is.
Will you ever come back?
What are you doing now? How are you doing?
Have you written any more books?
For several years, we had a tradition that every
Christmas, one of
the automatic gifts that my husband got was your latest book, or one
that he didn't have yet. We have missed being able to carry on
with
that tradition. We have missed being able to watch your show,
also. I
think it was very instrumental in getting my husband and sons interested
in cooking. Now my husband does most, if not all, the cooking
and
grocery shopping for our family.
We also have another family tradition. Every
time a person in our
family has a birthday, they go through all the Frugal Gourmet cookbooks
and pick out the menu that they want for their birthday meal, and
someone cooks it for them. Usually the cook is my husband.
When it's
his birthday, my sons are the cooks, and I'm very proud of what they've
been able to come up with--quite the gourmet meals! Thank you
for
adding this richness to our lives.

I just discovered that there is a Frugal Gourmet book that we don't have, but it is apparently out of print. Can you please tell me where I could find a new copy of The Frugal Gourmet...Keeps the Feast ?
Also, I saw one entry that alluded to your "dozen books". I only have 7, and this one would make 8--where do they get 12? Are there more that I don't know about?
