' I first became interested in guitar playing when my sister ran away from home and I decided that um, she had a guitar and I was going to take it and play it. By the time she returned she realised I was better than her..'
' I don't believe that music is about words, or music, I believe its about um, a vibration in energy. You know I always felt like as if I had to be good already, before I could play with the guys, what I do know that *that* forced me to do, be [and] have my own style.'
'Anything I hear in my head I've discovered I can play it, if I can sing it I can play it, if I can hear it, I can make it, I can make the sound. That's why I didn't use another guitar player on my album, it would take twice as long...and it was a big deal, you know its like there aren't many woman who've played every single guitar on their, on their album.'
