'N Sync's REAL Success Story

'N Sync:

The

Real Success Story

Sure, you’ve heard the “official” story on how ’N Sync came to be. But we here at the Boyband Oasis have decided to dig deeper . . . to the true story.

It all started by Joey. Yes, Joey. After getting tired of constantly being refused by women (You see, he wasn’t famous at the time), Joey decided to somehow become rich and famous as a surefire way to get the ladies. He could sing alright, but he needed another voice to back him up; possibly a lower sounding voice. He needed a bass voice- one that could sing, but didn’t look better so that Joey could get all the girls (All a part of his evil scheme, you know). Or, better yet, a bass who was a girl.

Close enough was Mississippi-born Lance Bass, whom Joey met while doing his nightly shifts at the Boom Boom Room.
Joey stopped hitting on Lance long enough to realize he was in fact, male, and asked him to join the group. Very early in their career, Lance, who happens to be very smart, knew that both he and Joey were meant to be third-wheels. However, he didn’t want to disillusion Joey and his ”dream”, so he hired his former square dance partner, Chris Kirkpatrick. Chris had the girly voice and the repulsive looks that would make all the women come to Joey, so of course he didn’t mind sharing the stage with Chris. However, their voices together, although agreeable, were not enough to earn a contract, or even, for that matter, a gig at the local McDonald’s. Again, Lance provided a suitable member to join the trio.

A boy Lance had had a crush on for several years, Joshua Chasez, had the perfect voice. He had the ability to make almost anyone successful, even Britney Spears . . . . .well, actually, we did say almost.
Anyway, back to the story.
All they had to do was give him all the solos- seemed like an easy plan. Unfortunately for Joey, Joshua, or JC (as he preferred to be called- Junky Cocaine- don’t ask) was obviously better looking than any of the others. Surely he would get all the girls, hence a seemingly forlorn Joey. After getting to know him a bit better, they discovered how incredibly boring he was. He would be no fun for girls to chase after. Joey was happy. Boy, would he get all the girls now! J

So, now they had “The Boring One”- JC, “The Ugly One”- Chris, “The Girly One”- Lance, and “The Stud”-Joey.
Quite a bunch they made. Still, they found no success. They needed something . .l. . or someone. although something sounds more fitting.
A record exec suggested they find a young blonde- cute enough to attract all the ladies but still too young to be legal. After all, the BSB hatched success from that very same motive.

Along bounced Justin Timberlake, a curly haired freak who loved basketball.Joey's sister, who was once his babysitter, reccomended him to the group. Chris liked him immediately; he was his key to youth, although the lad was ten years his junior.Lance thought he was cute, and JC was happy because he still had the better voice, no metter how boring he was.Justin wanted all the girls to himself, however, which stirredtrouble within the goup, whom Joey had named,"The Stud Joey and Those Four Other Guys".
Using his mad hypnotic basketball, he transformed himself into a stud- making his hair yellower than JC's teeth and naming the group 'N Sync (JustiN iS totallY a teeN hunC) You see, he really couldn't spell

So thus came the infectuous pop group,'N Sync, set to take the world over by storm.

So now, whenever you see them on TV answering that ubiquituous question about how they came together, just know that the Boyband Oasis has brought you the truth. . .
And the truth shall set you free!
