CORE BRANDS


COCA-COLA: Developed in a brass pot in 1886, Coca-Cola is the most recognized and admired trademark around the globe. Not to mention the best-selling soft drink in the world.

DIET COKE: The extension of the Coca-Cola name began in 1982 with the introduction of diet Coke (also called Coca-Cola light in some countries). Diet Coke quickly became the number-one selling low-calorie soft drink in the world.

SPRITE: In 1961, a citrus-flavored drink made its U.S. debut, using "Sprite Boy" as inspiration for its name. This elf with silver hair and a big smile was used in 1940s advertising for Coca-Cola. Sprite is now the fastest growing major soft drink in the U.S., and the world's most popular lemon-lime soft drink.

FANTA: When the Fanta product line began in 1955 in Naples, Italy, it consisted of one orange-flavored drink. Today it is the trademark name for a line of flavored drinks sold around the world.

POWERaDE: Unveiled in the United States in 1990 as a fountain beverage and in 1993 as a packaged drink, the Company's first sports drink is now available in a variety of flavors in more than 20 markets

 

MEXICO



FRESCA: This brand made its Mexican debut in June 1994,beginning with Guadalajara and Jalisco; it was also introduced in the last three years to Central America. Fresca is a carbonated grapefruit drink with a unique taste that is light and very refreshing.

DELAWARE PUNCH: Delaware Punch made its debut in late 1996. This noncarbonated soft drink has a sweet, full and intense grape flavor.

LIFT: Lift provides a deliciously refreshing treat. This carbonated apple soft drink was introduced in April 1995.

 

UNITED STATES



BARQ'S: This 100-year-old root beer was purchased by The Coca-Cola Company in 1995. Today, it is the number-one selling root beer in the United States.

CHERRY COKE: The pioneer in its category, Cherry Coke debuted in the United States in July 1985 and achieved top 10 status among all U.S. soft drinks by that year's end. Cherry Coke is now sold in 16 countries.

MINUTE MAID: Since 1946, Minute Maid branded products have refreshed consumers by offering quality juices and juice drinks in a variety of convenient forms and packages. The world leader in juice and juice products, Minute Maid was the Official Fruit Juice of the 1996 Olympics. In 1993, Minute Maid juices were introduced in a handy, portable bottle for consumers on the go. These 100% juice and juice-drink blends are available in nine different varieties. Minute Maid soft drinks were introduced in 1985 and now offer 12 fruit flavors -- more flavors than any other national brand.

MINUTE MAID SODAS: Minute Maid's refreshing fruit flavor sodas combines just the right amount of fizz with great taste. Available in flavors such as Orange, Grape, Strawberry, Fruit Punch, Blueberry and Pineapple, these sodas are enjoyed around the country.

MR. PIBB: Introduced in 1972, Mr. Pibb has the sweet, refreshing bold taste of a spicy cherry cola, making it an unconventional source of refreshment.

SURGE: Launched in 1997, and now available across the United States. SURGE is the citrus soda that provides refreshment and a feeling of rejuvination.

 

ARGENTINA

QUATRO: In November 1994, The Coca-Cola Company introduced Quatro, a fruit-flavored carbonated soft drink. Its Grapefruit and Lemonade flavors are refreshing, with natural fruit juice and less sugar.

 

BRAZIL

BONAQUA: BonAqua was introduced in Brazil in May 1997 and in Germany in 1984. This mineralized water passes through a double-filtration process, ensuring superior taste enjoyment and safety.

TAI: This high-quality carbonated beverage features the flavor of Guarana, a berry indigenous to the Amazon. It has a unique flavor similar to the combination of pineapple and apple. Historically, Guarana is known for providing benefits of "energy." Tai was launched in Brazil in 1979.

  KUAT: Introduced in 1997, Kuat is the new guarana-flavored carbonated soft drink that comes from the purest source in Brazil, the Amazon.

COLOMBIA

TAI: Developed by Coca-Cola de Colombia during 1996 and launched in January 1997, Tai is a carbonated pear-flavored soft drink with a clear champagne color.

 

EL SALVADOR

TROPICAL: Tropical as a brand has been in the market since 1966; The Coca-Cola Company acquired it in November 1994. Marketed as a "rainbow"-flavored carbonated soft drink, it is produced in Grape, Strawberry, Ginger and Creme Soda flavors.

 

EQUADOR

FIORAVANTI: Fioravanti was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company in 1991. This product includes a variety of fruit flavors such as Apple, Pineapple and Strawberry, and Pear.

 

VENEZUELA

  CHINOTTO: This popular lemon-lime carbonated soft drink was acquired by the Coca-Cola Company in 1997.

  FRESCOLITA: Frescolita was acquired by the Coca-Cola Company in 1997. This carbonated flavored drink has a vibrant red color, bubbles, and a fun Colita taste that is popular among kids and adults alike.
