Fred Durst is the vocalist to Limp Bizkit. He played in a lot of bands before they started forming Limp Bizkit. One day, he was watching a band who was opening for his band, and he noticed the bass player was just downright crazy. He was good. After the show Fred went up to him and asked him start a new band with Fred. Sam agreed. From there they got a temporary drummer, who happened to be Sam's cousin. Fred played guiar and sang, but he sucked at guitar so they needed a guitarist.
