Bombalurina

Bombalurina is a sly red female, who loves to flirt with all of the tims.
She uses her femininity to get what she needs from the male cats-and it works!

Her best friend is Demeter (possibly they two are sisters, who knows?)
It is rumored that she had a relationship with Macavity before Macavity left her and abduced Demeter.
I don't believe that. It sounds so... unbelievable.
Anyway, you can create another story that sounds more logic,
or you can just decide that there didn't happen anything before, however you like!

She hasn't her have own song, but Bombalurina takes it upon herself to upstage Demeter during Macavity.
She vamps it up, swinging her hips and winking at the audience,
crooning of Macavity's evil deeds in her smoky voice.

In the opening, she asks, "Were you Whittington's friend?",
during the Jellicle Ball, she wraps her arms around Demeter and sings,
"We make our toilette and take our repose."
She is a member of the three-cat girl chorus in both Jennyanydots' and Bustopher's song.
Also, she has a lovely swanky dance number during the Jellicle Ball
(watch Rum Tum Tugger in the background).
In Tugger's song she sings "The rum Tum Tugger is a curious beast",
and takes the opportunity to try to seduce him, and is summarily rejected,
but they make a rather fine couple during the Jellicle Ball anyway!
She teams up with Demeter once more to lament Grizabella's condition during the glamour cat's first appearance.
Bombalurina doesn't like Grizabella, becouse their characters are too close to each other.
If Grizabella hadn't left the tribe, they could have been as good friends as Demeter and Bombalurina are right now!

Bombalurina is more like a bomb than a ballerina.
There's a word from high school for her type: manky.
It is typicially used to indicate somethin that is inappropiate, and "just nasty".
And boy does she fit that word. And boy do we love it.
In the midst of the Etceteras and jellylorums, there stands Bombalurina,
dressed in red and adorably not coy.
She and Tugger deserve each other!
