Alonzo

Alonzo is one of the Jellicles that are known as the "big boys".
He's a tough black and white tom, who seems to be involved with many females throughout the show.

You can see him in the Macavity-fight.
He also dances at the Jellicle Ball with Mistoffelees and Pouncival,
and sings in the opening number "Are you cock of the walk" and
in the Jellicle ball "Jellicle cats are black and white, Jellicle cats are rather small"

In the London and Video he appears as a white-black cat, as shown as the left, but in Broadway, the tour and many other productions he is a darker tabby-like cat, shown as the right.

Alonzo does a 'shadow dance' during 'Macavity', On Broadway.
He stakes out the junkyard, perhaps waiting for macavity to return.

In some companies, actor playing Alonzo may portray the Rumpus Cat.
Alonzo is a funny cat. He is so...something what the others are not.
I like him.
