Lady Griddlebone

Griddlebone seems to be a kind of "girlfriend" of Growltiger's,
and she loves his warm barritone. She and growltiger are singing "Growltiger's last stand",
and then she escapes by jumping into the water.
The only question is in how far she helped the Siamese, because later Demeter and
Bombalurina call her an agent of Macavity's...

Griddlebone, a white persian (I think) is an opera diva!
This seafaring siren inflames the hearts of the Crew, but turns her attentions
torward Growltiger... until the going gets tough, of course!
She appears in only one number (Growltiger's last stand).

She is usually portrayed by Jellylorum, but in paris the part was
taken by Jennyaydots (Amélie Ron Ron).

Beacuse of the opera singing, Griddlebone is the most vocally demanding female role in the show!
You know, it is more difficult than Grizabella, bacause the actress also
has a bunch of songs to sing as Jellylorum!

The actress playing Jellylorum needs to get back into her
regular costume very quickly after the end of "Growltiger's Last Stand".
To facilitate this, in London and New York (at least) the Griddlebone outfit
and headpice are desicned to fit over the Jellylorum and wig.
