The great Rumpus Cat

...When suddenly, up from the small basement flat,
why who should stalk out but the Great Rumpuscat.
His eyes were like fireballs, fearfully blazing.
He gave a great jawn, and his jaws were amazing;
And when he looked out through the bars of the area,
You never saw anything fiercer or harier...

Now, that Old-D has arrived, Munkustrap organizes a play to ertertain Old-D.
This play is about two groups of dogs (the Pekes and the Pollicles),
who later are joined by two other groups (the Pugs and the Poms).
This two (or four) groups of dogs don't want to fight and try to avoid
a confrontation wherever they can, but right now one Peke-dog and one Pollicle dog meet
coincidentally and start a fight-and the Police Dog, who is supposed to keep them quiet,
isn't there-Munkustrap mentions that he might have drunk too much...
That's about the Pekes and the Pollicles but now...

The Rumpus Cat is the fearsome, red-eyed (His eyes are like fireballs) tomcat that arrives to
break up the fight between the Pollicle Dogs and their rivals, the Pekes.
He shoots up through the floor, snarls a little and disappears after the number is over. In the Cats Video, Rumpus messes up a little:
He misses his marks and makes his grand entrance upstage!

The rumpus Cat is Played by the actor portraying George, Alonzo or Plato/Macavity,
depening on the production. In the Cats Video, he is played by Admetus (Frank Thompson).

Even though it's very small, The Rumpus Cat is one on the most hazardous roles in the show.
Why? In the stage shows (most of them), Rumpus literally shoots up
onto the stage through what is known as a "Star trap."
He his and opens the trap with his head--so under the Rumpus face is a helmet as strong as one used
for professional football (I mean American football, not soccer!).
In addition, legs, arms and shoulders can easily be injured if they are caught in the trap.

My mind,Rumpus Cat is kind a "super cat". I wonder, does he fly?
