Hello everyone, my name is Tiger_Barbie and I live in the northern part of the great State of South Carolina, USA! In fact, I think I have been here most of my life - at least as long as I can remember. I love meeting people and I feel like I have really found a true family here with The Tigers. And, oh my - we keep growing everyday and I find that really exciting. There really are alot of neat great people in the world today and I think we are finding most of them!
Just for the record - so you know - I am handicapped and live my life in an electric wheelchair (Thank God for modern technology!) I have what is called "Neurofibromatosis" - which means "nerve tumors". I have a great sense of humor and love to play Spades with the family here. I want everyone to like me for myself and I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me because of my disability. My mind is as sharp as a tack and if you have that - believe me you got alot going for you!
My computer is my world and it is amazing what a life can be found here on the Internet. I just can't wait to get up in the mornings and greet my friends around the world.
I am a great collector and have a huge collection of Elvis stuff - along with magnets, windchimes and dolls. I love bright colors with any shade of blue as my favorite. The yellow rose is another passion of mine - I admire its delicate beauty and its fragrant aroma. Of course, like most women - I wouldn't turn down a pretty red or pink rose either!
In addition to playing Spades, I enjoy Gin Rummy and most all card games and other participating games. I am an avid fan of Country Music - and of course Elvis will always be King!
My philosophy on life is fairly simple: "Life is simply what you make it. Enjoy the blessings that you have and don't dwell on the things that you can't change. There is something here for everyone - sometimes you just have to find it!"
