We work hard to learn to type, but it's fun too! When we complete five lessons (there are a total of 12) we receive a prize... books for summer reading, donated by Scholastic and National Geographic. Every student who finishes all 12 UltraKeys chapters, earns a certificate! Students pictured at right: Jessica (4th grade) and Destiny (2nd grade), hold new books awarded to them for earning high scores on the first five keyboarding chapters. Great job, young ladies!

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to raise money for computer lab equipment, supplies and awards for student achievement. Awards such as new books, free meal coupons, Big Splash and movie tickets are greatly appreciated.
NEW CHAIRS FOR COMPUTER LAB! The Club bought new, child sized chairs for the computer room! Adult sized chairs are too big for 1st-5th graders who are learning to type. Fitting equipment properly to the user is what "ergonomics" is all about. We want our students to learn good keyboarding habits early. This will help them avoid Cumulative Trauma Disorder (CTD),
and assure them safe and productive keyboarding far into the future.
