"The Constitution" is "the Supreme Law of the land" and acknowledged, as such, in our state constitutions. Yet, today, OUR children are ignorant to the enormous weight of protection it affords us. "The Bill of Rights" did not grant us those rights spoken of, nor those rights preceived. It was written to protect us from those who would come, one day, and try to take them from us. We had these rights when we were born and they came to us as naturally as OUR first breath. "The Preamble" to the "Bill of Rights" states the reasons for its being written. The "Federal United States" government has, for years, funded OUR public schools never encouraging a curriculum that would instill in OUR children an understanding of what had united this great "Republic" in the first place. One published document, that has allowed us to remain free for over two hundred years. "The Constitution". This is the most important document that has been written in OUR country's history, and our children know almost nothing about it.

WE are now in jeopardy of losing these freedoms. Not from the dreaded communism of the 50's and 60's, but from internal erosion. Lack of education and fear will be the means by which we lose OUR freedom. Bit by bit, the "Constitution" will be cut up and amended until those who wrote it and those who know it, will not recognize the thing that has made this country great.

I would encourage you all, at this point in time, to educate yourselves and your children on The Constitution, and those things associated with it.
