The Truth Is Out There

...Somewhere

Did you ever notice how many "Truths" are out there. Just look around the internet. I did a search today and got thousands of hits.

There was "The Truth" about comets, earth changes, and ghosts. I found the whole truth about government conspiracies, UFO's, and earthquakes. There's still, at least, 10 good pages telling us the truth about JFK. One truth says he "crossed" the mafia, while another says, he was going to tell the world about the "space people" buried in the basement of the "White House". God, Y2K, and religion had lots of pages on the truth.

There were people saying, "To tell you the truth..." and others that said, "The Truth of the matter is...". There were even those who claimed to have the "Truth" about "the Truth".

Now, I ask you. How does anyone ever know what the real truth is? With so many to choose from, I have to tell you, I was confused. Would it be too much to ask, that everybody sat down over lunch and got their stories straight? We're only human, you know, and God didn't give all of us "Big Brains".

Needless to say, I closed my browser, and sat stareing at my monitor, as my "Millennium" screen saver flashed the words "Worry" and "Wait", "Millennium", at me. "Great!" I thought. "No wonder I'm depressed."
