The One, A Story dedicated to my friend AJ.

I felt like writing an explaination for "The One" for why i call it that. I'M BORED!
anyway, I was cleaning my room like right after i finished writing this (sounds like fun huh?) and Millennium was on of course. The song "The One" comes on. I was listening and singing along while making my bed and i started to actually listen to the first verse. Then i was like "Whoa! That's like the description of my story in a verse!" So... i named it this. I'm trying to figure out how you put up music on your webpage so i can put that up for ya'll to hear but I don't know how to! If you know, TELL ME PLEASE!!!!!!

As Junior walked home, not paying attention to anything but the ground, her tears fell shamelessly to the ground. If she HAD been paying attention, she would have noticed the guy walking in the opposite direction of her, staring straight at her. As she walked on, she collided with the guy, knocking a bunch of things out of his hands. "Oh my God! I am soooo sorry!!!” She gasped. "Don’t be sorry! I’m the klutz here. I should have been watching where I was going.” This guy said. She looked up to see a gorgeous guy looking right at her. He saw her tears. “Awwe baby, what’s wrong?” She winced at the name ‘baby’. “Dave used to call me that all the time.” She thought sullenly. “It’s nothing..... really.” “Well it has to be something for those tears.” “Really. It’s nothing of your concern.” She bent down and started to pick up his papers but he grabbed her arm. “Hey, let me do that. It’s not your fault.” He saw how her tears were flowing, and how she was trying so hard to hold them back and he pulled her into a tight hug. “It’s ok, it’s ok.” He whispered. “You can tell me, I don’t bite.” She smiled weakly though her tears. He quickly let go and reached down to pick up his stuff, got up and put his arm around her shoulders and led her back to his house. “Let me just go call B and then we’re going to talk.” He got on the phone. “Hey B, it’s AJ. I’m not coming to the conference today. Something came up. Just tell them I was sick or whatever. Ok? K. Cya latta.” He hung up and handed her the phone and said, “Go call your house and tell your parents you’re at AJ McLean’s house. Here’s my number.” He gave it to her and she reluctantly took the phone and then set it down. “You don’t even know why I am.” “Oh, right, who are you?” She laughed quietly. “I’m AJ McGinnis, known as Junior usually.” “Well ok, Junior, I’m AJ also.” She then called her house and got the machine. “Hi, mom, it’s AJ. I’m now at AJ McLean’s house. Here’s his number if you want to call me.” She quickly gave the number and hung up. “Why don’t you let me go home, erase the message and we can forget this whole thing ever happened.” She started to walk towards the door but he grabbed her arm. “You’re staying here with me.” He took her arm and led her into a huge living room. “Now, I know this seems weird, meeting some weird guy on the street and then going to his house, but I’m assuring you, I am harmless.” He smiled at her. “Tell me what’s wrong sweetie.” “Like I told you. It’s really nothing. Just a simple puppy love break-up. Not like any relationship with me would ever last.” She cried softly. “Go ahead, tell me.” “Fine. My boyfriend Dave broke up with me today for my old best friend who is a gorgeous blond, Krystal. That’s it. It’s not like it would last. I’m so ugly and stupid and boring an---.” He cut her off. “Hey now. Don’t be so hard on yourself. If I was the one who broke up with you, which I wouldn’t do, I’d be slapping myself now for it. You’re pretty, smart, funny. None of those things. You should know by now that beauty comes from the inside and not the out.” He kissed her. “You have found the key to my heart and opened it up. Please keep it open and throw that key away. I don’t think I could live without you (i actually stole part of that line from something my brother's girlfriend wrote to him). I know I just met you today, but I’m already falling in love with you.” Here eyes started to fill up again with tears. He kissed her again, this time more passionately and deeply. He hugged her tightly and whispered in her ear, “Today, when we ran into each other, that was no accident. I saw you and knew you needed somebody to be with right then. I knew I could be that person. I ran into you on purpose because I wasn’t about to let fate pass right by me.”
