Darling it's been a year since our first date,

You held my hand and you did not hesitate.

Being with you I could feel the love and serenity,

The warmth in your eyes was full of sincerity.

I remember the day you sent flowers to me,

My thought was… he is the one, he has to be.

I waited such a long time to meet the right one,

I prayed to God and my prayer was finally done.

On that day when you asked me to marry you,

I was really surprised and very happy too.

When I think back on our special wedding day,

I would do it all over again, needless to say.

You are the best thing that ever happened to me,

I believe that together forever we will always be.

You are all I need in this crazy world to get by,

My life is complete and you are the reason why.

I will cherish each moment we have together,

And I will not take you for granted, never.

You will never know how much I love you Darling,
