My name is Colleen and I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my webpage. I sincerely hope that the stories and poems that I wrote will uplift you. I do enjoy writing poems and stories about events in my life and I hope to add more to my page over time. My personal experiences and the many blessings that the Lord has brought into my life have inspired the poems and stories I've written.

I am a petite 41 year-old Accounting Clerk with a fantastic husband and two wonderful sons; they are the joy in my life. I was born and raised in Southern California. My Stepson Ryan is eighteen years old and our beautiful adopted son Eric is six years old. I work for a private Liberal Arts College and I am truly blessed to work with other Christians. I became a Christian as a young teenager; however, I faced many trials and challenges over the years. The Lord really helped me through many difficult times and I have become a stronger Christian because of that.

I was born premature and I had a heart problem that was corrected as a young child. I also have a partial loss of hearing due to childhood illnesses that I have learned to deal with. In 1983 I married a man who was emotionally and physically abusive. After ten years of being in a turbulent relationship, I finally realized I had to get out. It is a true miracle that I made it out of that relationship alive! God showed me a better life and he changed my life around. I truly believe that God and his Angels have watched over me since I was born. I have remained faithful to God and he blessed me with a beautiful new life with my wonderful husband John, we've been married for about ten years.

I do believe that God has a purpose for my life, for me to be a good wife to John and a good mother to Ryan and Eric. God also has another purpose for my life, which is to share my experiences to help others or perhaps someone they know. I truly believe that if we share our love and our faith in God this world could be a better place. I pray that God will touch your life in a beautiful way and may you share that with others.
