Ryan, our beloved son, we are so proud of you,

For all of the hard work at School that you do.

You do your best, what more could we expect,

You're a very bright boy and your mind is set.

Ryan, often times we fail to let you know,

Oh how much your Dad and I love you so.

There couldn't be a more caring and loving son,

Who really strives to be the awesome one.

I see you playing with your little brother,

And it makes me glad to be your mother.

Ryan, even though I did not give birth to you,

My feelings for you are still honest and true.

There are times when I wished I told you this…

When you're not around your smile I do miss.

You have given our family such joy and happiness,

And you listen with understanding and graciousness.

You have a bright future with your superior mind,

I pray that a wonderful spirited life you will find.

Ryan, I feel blessed and I wanted you to know,

I will treasure you my son, in my heart and soul.
