Here are some interesting tid bits about myself...
- I've played the violin for about 11 years. Sadly though, I've had little
time to keep up with it. :(
- I'm self taught in piano, though it does take me forever to sight read and learn a piece.
- Back in high school, my friends back home used to call me "crowbar finger," after having lifted
up a manhole cover with my fingers when our football dropped down into the gutter.
- I used to spend WAY too much time on the computer playing games, surfing the net,
composing music.
- During high school, I interned at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. There, I learned much about the neuroimmune response, thanks
to my lab and especially my mentor, Dr. Esther M. Sternberg.
- One time, my sister spit a piece of gum up into the air and I caught it in my own mouth. Yummy!
- I am fluent only in English, though I do know a lot of French and Taiwanese, and a little Mandarin.
- I love anime. I got hooked on it at first, watching Fist of the North Star. Pretty funny cartoon. You have to laugh when you see heads exploding and people getting sliced to pieces, right?
Hey, if you want to learn something else about me, just email me and ask!
The music you are listening to right now is Beethoven's Moonlight
Sonata, one of my favorite pieces to play and listen to on the piano.
