The Permit
Lo and behold, here's how tax money's spent;
Giving a permit to Aaron, by our state government.
The day of panic has come, Aaron can legally drive.
Though with an adult, he's dangerous even if the adult's 25.
Everyone run, run near and far,
He's a dangerous fellow, he loves a parked car.
Granny's with walkers, babies in strollers,
Pedestrians are to him, like pins are to bowlers!
Run away, run away those as slow as a toad,
for when he hits the road, he really hits the road!
Go to the police, go to the DMV,
Go to the courthouse, go to the CHP.
Tell them how he drives, warn neighbors and friends,
If he's on the road, all walking lives end.
If you see him behind the wheel, warn all around that are true,
Because if you see him, he's already seen you!
"He'll drive safe, give him time," his mother will talk,
"Until then, when he drives, stay off the sidewalk."
