don't know if you could call it an experience, I saw them open for Everclear
at Spinnaker, the first member I remember seeing was Marty, and when I saw
him come on stage with that freaky blonde hair, I knew they were going to be
awesome. When they first started playing, I was hooked I came for Everclear,
but they stole a part of that show! I got to hang backstage for a
while, and met the "main attraction" everclear, and with Craig, though I didn't
realize it until I thought about it, was Zia. He misspelled my name and
everything :) Well, I've been playing that Mayfield Four album ever since I got it,
and love it. Lyrically, it is my favorite album. They sort of inspired me
to chase my dream. Mayfield Four is definitely a great group of guys.
Hope they don't let fame get to them.

*How long ago did you become a fan: about a year ago
*What is your Favorite song: Well...at one time or another they've all
been my favorite, Right now 10K is stuck in my head from the "Motion" EP. But if I had to choose just one, i think it'd have to be Overflow. *How many times have you seen them live: twice *Tell us about your Mayfield Four experiances(hopfully you have one!). Hm...my favorite was probably the show they played in DC with Fuel and Zebrahead. It was the last nite of the tour. All during MF4's set Zebrahead was bombing the stage with toilet paper and socks. Then during Inner City< Blues, Brett from Fuel came out with a sign reading "Mayfield 3" and the Fuel boys ran on and stole marty. Slowly as Brett would enter with a new sign, a new member would be kidnapped. Until Myles just stood alone...and sang "Makes me wanna holler...YOU FUCKERS" and dropped his guitar and left. Needless to say revenge was near. I was talking to Marty before Zebrahead went on and he just said, watch us do some shit to these guys. Then pulled down pants, brought distractions up on stage, covered the drummers cymbals. So then Fuel came on. From backstage Marty looked at me and showed me the silly string in his pocket. They filled the stage with it. Then during Fuel's closer "Highway to Hell" with Myles on vocals, MF4 got their revenge, kidnapping Fuel until it was Mayfield 4 closing out the show playing "Highway to Hell". Marty had his wallet stollen while trying to crowdsurf, but it was a fun nite all in all.

*Tell us about your Mayfield Four experiences (hopfully you have one!) Let's see....I have a BUNCH!! The first time I saw them was cool, I met Myles that time...he signed the cd...the second was at Bumbershoot of last year. I had been emailing with Marty a lot, and they knew me by screen name (which USED to be Bowiechasr!!!). I met them after the show, and had brought Myles a Ziggy Stardust poster.....he said something along the lines of "You must be Bowiechasr"..LOL, it was great! All the guys signed my cd for me, and Marty put "To Ms. Bowie-Finally we meet!". Let's see....I saw them in Seattle 3 times, I think...Portland 2, Spokane 2, Reno, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Pomona once each. I've gotten to chat with them online, gotten to hang at shows, and been able to take pictures at all of those shows. When *you* see them, buy 'em a beer or dinner-these guys deserve it!!!!

*Tell us about your Mayfield Four experiances(hopfully you have one!) I first saw them at the Magic Stick in Detroit, opening for Big Wreck. It was a really small venue and there were very few people there so it had a very inimate feel. After MF4 played I went up and talked to each of them (they're so nice!) and they signed my copy of Fallout.
