Such a small word.
A word taken for granted.
A word often over looked.
A word of such importance.
For most people,
We give it freely.
We trust our friends not to lie,
Our family to love us.
We do not have to earn it.
We often don't even think about it.
We often forget how precious,
A gift we are given when,
We are trusted.
But what if we loose it?
Then we learn how important it was.
We feel a loss so great.
It affects every part of our life.
What can we do now?
How do we find the gift?
That we did not even recognize,
Until we lost it.
Without it love starts to die.
We did not know how it
Blessed our lives.
How it made us closer to each other.
Time will heal all wounds, they say,
But will it rebuild trust?
Or is there something we must now do?
How do we trust each other again?
How do we hold onto the love,
That requires trust to survive?
How do we trust again?
Will it come back in time?
Trust
Such a small word.
A word taken for granted.
A word often over looked.
A word of such importance.
