I am Nannette aka Nann. I am 35, engaged to a wonderful man and a mother of three special needs children. I am a BBW(Big Beautiful Woman)and I am happy just the way I am. I live in the desert of California with my boyfriend, kids, 4 dogs and 3 cats.

I have recently found out that my youngest son has Epilepsy, as well as having ADHD(Attention Deficeit Hyperactivity Disorder. My other two children have ADHD as well. My daughter has ODD (oppositional defiant disorder ) on top of the ADHD. I am currently learning all about becoming a child advocate, so that I can help my children as well as others, get the education they deserve.
I have become a member of a great group called KIDSHEART. It is a part of Egroups and is the best thing in the world (my opinion) for parents with special needs children. We are one great big family, and no matter what the problem there is always someone there to listen and to help. If you have a special needs child/ren and need someone to talk to or information on IEP's,IDEA, FAPE or any other subject then come and check us out.
