Here is the mysterious but wonderful world of Lennus.
The world is divided into two hemispheres, the Land Hemisphere and the Sea Hemisphere. The entire (known) population of Lennus dwells in the Land Hemisphere (obviously), on its northern and southern continents, Naskuot and Saskuot. The continents are divided by the great Equator River which flows out, both eastward and westward, from its source in the center of the Land Hemisphere. The omniscient Immortals of Raiga are believed to be somewhere in the Sea Hemisphere, but none who have sailed far out to sea have ever returned.
Naskuot is, for the most part, lush farmlands and (literally) green mountain ranges, and is renowned for its strangely beautiful blue-leafed trees. Its climate is fairly warm for most of the year and receives plenty of rainfall in the winter, though it rains frequently in areas such as Lake Jurayn. More notable features of Naskuot's landscape are the ancient statues which praise the three Great Ones, Kormu, Sophie, and Gabnid who came from Raiga, the land of the heavens, over 10,000 years ago and gave the people of Lennus the gifts of courage, love, and wisdom. Naskuot is home to the Floating Temple high atop the bright city of Jurayn, the Magic School in the east, and the Throne of the Immortals at the equator, where it was said that the Immortals of Raiga and the Great Ones first set foot on Lennus, though the area of the Throne has since become territroy of Saskuot.
The southern continent Saskuot is much the opposite of Naskuot; it is "a land of red earth and dark souls". There is very little farmland in Saskuot, being mostly made up of jagged, purplish mountains, and the southern areas of the continent are covered in ice and snow throughout the year. The majority of the people of Saskuot are very bad-tempered, being filled with hatred and jealousy for the people of Naskuot, which has made relations between the two continents bad for many generations. Noteworthy places in this desolate land are the misty forest of Misuto, the ruins of the town of Karon, infamous "capital of death" for thousands of years, and the Temple of Zaygos in the east, where the powerful Lord Zaygos reigns as supreme dictator of Saskuot.
One more unique feature of the Land Hemisphere of Lennus is the Rope Network system, which is used for transportation. Passengers climb aboard a shuttle, much like a horse-drawn carriage. The shuttle is then attatched to the thick cables at the Rope Network station and is carried along from one station to another. Six such Rope Network stations exist on Lennus; the station in Ratsurk in Naskuot connecting to the Oldo Bay station, the Misuto station connecting to the station east of Karon, and the station west of Barsas connecting to the station in Rekuon, the Saskuot settlement below the Throne of the Immortals.
