A Bit About Television
Having clicked on the "A Bit About Television" link,
I'm guessing that you're wondering, "Why does he speak
so poorly of TV and at the same time speak well about
certain TV shows, like South Park?" Well, I do
that for a good reason. With the exception of programs
such as South Park (and others I like such as
I Love Lucy and Married With Children),
the vast majority of television tells me that we're
all nothing but fat, happy, stupid morons that are
worth no more that dog shit, or at least I get the
impression that the people behind the TV media all
think that way.Or, as the great Henry Rollins has put
it, television seems to say "you're a dumb fuck and
here's your entertainment, you dumb piece of shit".
So there's my bit on the aptly named Idiot Box.
