on the rocks-
straight up like-
......almost unbearable-
swag man-

no sense-
..............nonsense-
swinging-
.............fizzling out-
there are no sounds-
no secrets-
no wolves in sheep's clothing-

play games with the curtains closed-
with your head-
gauge buttons that dehumanize canaries-
eat galvanized steel-
peel onions strictly for affect-
walk on broken glass-
conserve gas-
divide & conquer on late night t.v.-
give flea baths to the dead-
conjugate-
.............coagulate-
..........................consummate soup-
find enlightenment in swiss cheese army knives-
in black & white-
.in any colour you like-

..................................are at times hard to swallow-

words have no life-
