Auto Cross events take place about once a month. This page contains a few pictures from events I've attended.

April 1999 - Fairlady Z

This beautiful little car was imported from Japan. The owner is unknown.

If you're looking at this and saying, "Fairlady??? That's looks like an old 240Z to me!"
Get the hell off my page! (just kidding)
It's hard to miss the fender mounted rear view mirrors that were so common on older Japanese cars or the Japanese license plate, but look closely at the position of the steering wheel.

What we in the US have come to recognize as the DATSUN/NISSAN "Z" car line, starting with the 240Z and temporarily ending with the 300ZX, is known in Japan and other countries as Fairlady Z (read "Zetto" in Japan). This name goes back to include the classic little Datsun 1600 to 2000 roadsters.

Here are some pictures of a very impressive BMW M3 that's been stripped down and beautifully modified.

Every modification on this car, while also making it look awesome, appeared to be purposeful.
Whether to save weight, ensure driver safety, or increase power output or road contact; it looked as though no necessary mod was excluded nor extraneous mod included.
