I Once Had a Master, The Love of a Master, Entertainment for a Master, and In Search of a Master. Taste in erotica is a highly subjective thing. i adore John Preston's Master series because he was one of those rare writers who captured all the emotional charge of bottoming. The earlier work is better (my opinion -- much more personal and intensely real). The story "Authenticity" in I Once Had... is still the best short i've ever read about submission. Entertainment and Search are apparently out of print and the other two are special orders.

Of Men, Ropes and Remembrance. Larry Townsend is a highly respected writer who i find to be a little too fantastic for my taste. He writes a damn good story though.
Dirty Pictures : Tom of Finland, Masculinity and Homosexuality; Tom of Finland: The Art of Pleasure; and Tom of Finland: His Life and Times. Again, how much you enjoy TOF is a matter of taste, but his figures and style have become icons. Dirty Pictures is a new, scholarly (but lavishly illustrated) work.The Sash Dash:
