Patrols moved thru events that followed the theme: "Scout vs Wild". There were events regarding orienteering, fire building, emergency survival transport & first aid, survival shelters, trail signs, signaling, tracking, and wilderness preparation. Orienteering Challenge Wild Flowers Patrol Campsite Poison Oak! Demonstrations of Pack Mule trecking Mr. Aldous built and designed the new Flag Pole! Mr. Martinez teaches the Cougar Patrol the fine art of cooking a cake in the out doors in a dutch oven. They won top honors in the cookoff for their creation! Kitchen duties Chicken Pot Pie, with a nice brown, crispy crust! Camp Fire Program! Visit from the Indian Spirits!
It was pretty cold on Sunday morning!!
There was frost on everything. Someone put a chair over the ovens and hot briquettes. Pretty Crazy Huh! Wow, I guess it was cold !!! Sunday Worship Service
