Tree planting to Start a park for the City of Lemoore
Fox Street Park

To create the park setting approximately 100 trees were needed. Rob sought funding for this project from local civic groups, (Rotary, Lions, City of Lemoore). Rob's appearances before these groups accumulated a total of $4077 in funding. (br)Here he stands next to one of the newly planted trees.

This photo shows the north edge of the park with a number of volunteers planting trees down the street. Approx 30 people were involved in the project.

Volunteers came from several community groups including the Lemoore Lions Club and the Lemoore Tree Committee. In this photo the planting team is having lunch, courtesy of the Lions Club.

Rob poses with the Scouts from Troop 413 at the completion of the planting project. This project planted trees in a park that had laid idle for several years, due to a lack of city funding for this type of improvement.

Rob was approved by the Eagle Review Board on June 11, 1999!

The Official Eagle Ceremony was held on July 25, 1999 at Camp Chawanakee, on the shores of Shaver Lake in the Sierras of central California!
