Mrs. Squire led the nature hike. Here she points to a large patch of poison oak. It is very common in the area.

There is a suspension bridge across the Kaweah River for hikers. It does some nifty movement when hikers walk across!

About 2 in the afternoon on Satruday a bear strolled through the Diablo Patrol campsite. He watched for a while then wandered south when the Rangers arrived!

We found an item from the bears investigating someone's equipment on a previous night. This is a Costco size container of Bear Aspirin!

Cooking with Dutch Ovens. Lessons included a demo of stacking them 3 high! Mr. Aldous and Mr. Bridges are cooking up a storm. Several dinners were baked followed by a potluck.

Dutch Oven deserts were also baked. Time for another potluck!

Alan learned how to make a cookie, a BIG cookie!

Saturday night the Campground had an campfire talk by a Naturalist. The subject was archeology.

Sunday was a time to help the Park by cleaning up at a handicap campsite.
