Ian's Graduation Ceremony

Rare Photo Oppportunities

Even though it was quite an early start for us all to get ready and to leave the house on Sunday morning, a mother cannot miss an opportunity to take pictures of her two sons (& her husband) all with ties on. Here is Ian with Carrie on the left, and Ian with dad & Marc on the right.

The Convocation center

The commencement was held in Cleveland State University's Convocation Center in the heart of Cleveland's City Center.

On Sunday the 7th of May, The commencement began at 9:30am with the processional. The ceremony began at 10:00am.

Receiving Doctorates

One of the receivers of an honorary doctorate was TV celebrity & comedian Drew Carey who was born and raised in Cleveland. Drew also gave the commencement address.

We were ideally situated inside the auditorium, Ian's row was right in front of us. He saw us and gave a wave as his row moved out to the front.

After the Ceremony

When the ceremony is over, Ian can relax and we have time for more pictures outside the Convocation Center. On the left, Ian with Carrie, on the right Ian with his friend Tom.
