The Whinnem Family Reunion 2000
In September all four of us attended the Whinnem family reunion in Hartford, Connecticut. our hosts were Ken & Doug Whinnem who organized the dinner for all members of the Whinnem family able to attend.
All of the attendees (apart from ourselves) are descendents of one family who emigrated to the United States from the north east of England at the turn of the last century.
This line of the family is known to be cousins to our line of the family. At one time both sides of the family lived in the same street in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.
The following pictures are shown here to enable all those who attended the event, an opportunity to access them. Approximately 65 people attended the gathering, I did not think it was possible to have so many people in one room who knew how to spell my name.
