It all started on the summer of 1998 when my sister and I discovered the world of the Internet. At the same time my sister brought the album Spice World, I didn't really have any interest in them before I listen to their songs. Immediately I went on Yahoo in search of Spice Girls pages, I tried to find out everything about the girls and since it was summer and I have nothing to do I wanted to go to every Spice Girls site on Yahoo (that goal seems pretty dumb to me now). But gave up after I got through half the sites in All the Spice Girls Links in the World. After half of my summer I wanted to build a web page, and I knew immediately that I am going to build a Spice Girl fan page! But back then I was using Web TV so there is no way that I can do uploading and scripting so I decided to hold out until I get a computer. I got a computer and signed on to the web sometime at November or December of 1998 and I was learning to use a computer on the web. At January 1999 I signed up for a Angelfire account and started my web page, I named it Spice 2000. Spice 2000 was just a beginning web page so it was somewhat ugly, I did not know anything about computers or the Internet but I still tried to do the best I can. At the same time my sister also began a Spice Girls web site named Spice Contest. Both of these sites were not exactly the nicest looking sites in the Internet. Spice Contest was the first to have it's grand opening at February 1999 but it got less than a hit a day while Spice 2000 was still under construction. Spice 2000 opening date kept getting delayed because I had some really busy months. Both me and my sister were getting better on web site designing and programming so we eventually put both of our sites together to form 2001 Spice Empire! 2001 Spice Empire was formed at the end of May 1999 and we expected our site to be opened by July. We were thinking up and putting new contents on our page every week and it opened two weeks before it's scheduled release date and it's summer again! We had planed a trip half way around the world to Hong Kong so there were no updates in the summer. After the summer my sister lost interest for the Spice Girls and shed turned the 2001 Spice Empire over to me. I was really busy after summer vacation since this is my first year of high school so there were almost no updates until November. In December 99 I decided to change 2001 Spice Empire to Spice Girls 3 Thousand or SG3K. SG3K is being developed and I am trying to give it a whole new look. I am hoping SG3K would be as successful as 2001 Spice Empire.
