"What do you think of Candi?" I asked Kevin. Nick was in the bathroom and Kevin and I were in the lounge.

"What I think? I think she's actually quite nice. Do you like her or somethin'?"

"Yeah, sorta. The only problem is, I think that AJ has a thing for her too. And she doesn't seem to like any of us though. I mean, she likes us as a friend. Maybe she already has a boyfriend."

"Brian, I don't know if you wanna know this, but when Maddy and Candi were leaving, I heard them saying that both their favorite Backstreet Boy was Nick. Personally, I think Nick should go for Candi 'cos Maddy seems a little too flashy and there's somethin' about her that I don't like but you know Nick, always lettin' his hormones get in control and always goin' for looks first. Now that you and AJ like her too, well, this is getting too complicated, I'm going to bed."

I was silent for a while, thinking about what Kevin had said. This was turning into some complicated love triangle. Both Maddy and Candi like Nick, Nick likes Maddy while AJ and I like Candi. This is too weird.
 

Candi's P.O.V. -

"And Nick was so nice and he was..." Maddy was talking on and on about Nick, as if he was god or something. I didn't bother telling her he was staring at her low cut dress.

"Maddy, I know you like Nick, but I really would like to get some sleep now!" Instead, Maddy just kept on talking.

"So, what is it with you and Brian?"

"We are friends. As with AJ, and Howie, and Kevin, and Nick."

"But why did he say he'd call you?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, they live on they same street as us. He said that he'd call and we could all go do something tomorrow."

"WHAT! You didn't tell me! Oh my god! I might get to see Nick again!"

I tried to drown out Maddy's talking as my own thoughts ran into my head. Truth was, I think Brian and AJ both liked me. Unfortunately, I still had a crush on Nick, so I didn't really flirt with them.
