JORDAN et MOI!  =)
The romance begins...

Well there is not much to tell about my encounter w/ the big man himself except that it was somewhat brief, LOL.  I heard Jordan would be in Canada for a few days (a couple of hours from my present location) , and promptly flipped my lid... followed closely by a phone call to the train station to book myself a ticket to Toronto, LOL.  I took off of work for the two last days he'd be there, appearing at MuchMusic one day and at the Sega Playdium in Mississauga the next.  After much calling around, I was convinced that I'd never get to see this man alive, LOL, but the trip turned out alright all things considered and here's the story of it...  (Click here if ya' don't feel like reading about it now).

I'd like to lodge a formal complaint against MuchMusic here if I may...  Some of the people that work there are nice but some of them are also big FAT LIARS because i called and called and kept being told that *no one* could get inside the Much environment to see Jordan unless they were picked from that ridiculous random draw that they did to select the audience members.  Hello, doing a random draw from a group of MuchAxs members is NOT the way to get a crowd of Jordan Knight fans.  Not only that, but I consider it unfair to those of us who would pay dearly just for the chance to be in the same room as him, let alone watching him perform and chat for an hour...  Seems to me MuchMusic doesn't care so much about doing all this *for the fans* as they do with drumming up the *appearance* that they're doing it for the fans, it makes me sick - especially when even after their precious selected audience was inside (and they had let others in who got wristbands, *cough*this is where the LIAR comes in, she told me there wouldn't be any and there were but i missed out*cough*) they could still have fit those of us outside INSIDE... but they didn't - after all it has to look like there are more fans there than there actually were...  bah!  anywayz, LOL...  so Jordan was there though and of course he ROCKED the joint.  He touched my hand at this point (*sigh*bigass grin*  LOL), but even just seeing him the flesh was amazing because the first instant i saw him in there i was like... i had to draw in a breath cuz i couldn't believe i was FINALLY seeing Jordan Knight for real... right in front of me.  See, i only saw New Kids in concert once back in the day and it was the best night of my life... right up until i saw Jordan again this past June.  Being pissed at MuchMusic and all, it was still amazing.  So my dad and I went back to the hotel.  Now I have to tell you that my dad decided to come to Toronto and visit me since he hadn't seen me in a few months and wanted to visit with me... He'd dropped me off at MuchMusic and so after my Jordan excitement, LOL, we went to watch the end of a Blue Jays game before we went back to the hotel.  As we approach the hotel I notice crowds of girls outside, in little groups ya' know?  And since I have never been enough of a lucky SOB (i am quite unlucky, ask anyone, lol) to have been in the same hotel as someone i *love* as much as Jordan... i didn't know what to think.  Except that I saw this guy i *thought* looked like Jordan's bodyguard and that made me excited... (I was in Toronto to see Jordan, everything made me excited, LOL)  =)    Then after coming back down to the lobby tho, I saw him talking with some friends about the Jays game so I assumed I was being a paranoid/obsessed fan and imagining things, and tried to calm down so as not to cause myself an ulcer...  I sat down in a chait to wait for my dad and i'm waiting and... Miguel walks by.  Miguel Melendez.  Miguel *I'mAHottie&I'mJordan's Manager* Melendez.  AH!  LOL.  So as I'm realizing this he's walking towards me and he catches my eye and smiles at me, sort of slowing down as though he thinks maybe I am a fan and am going to say something or talk to him.  Me being the chickenshit that I am, and not wanting to look like a "fan" who stakes out hotel lobbies, LOL, plus the fact that I was still in shock, I just smiled back at him and he smiled back and sorta nodded his head hello and I'm like YEAH HI MIGUEL JUST SMILED HELLO AT ME!!!  LOL!!  So Jordan's in my hotel somewhere and I'll be damned if my dad doesn't want to be anywhere BUT the hotel...  Anyways, I am a nice daugher (well i try, lol) so we went out to eat and guess who we end up walking behind down the streets of Toronto - Miguel and Jordan's bodyguard.  Yup.  We hear them mentioin Jordan's name and i am in heaven, although i would have been even MORE ecstatic if he'd been with them!  =)  But it appears that it wouldn't be until the next day when I saw him again.

I waited in line outside the Sega Playdium the next day for about 6-7 hours I'd say, and was lucky enough to be in the first 150 people in line - the first 150 people got green wristbands and were admitted into the venue for free, the rest got white wristbands and had to pay to get in so as to avoid any loitering of non-fans outside the venue.  I thank God for that green wristband because they were SO disorganized there that the green/white code was about the only organized thing happening... the green gals got in first.  I think I ended up about 6th row, although in such a smashed mess of girls like that it's hard to distinguish between tanktop'd teens and organize them into rows, LOL.  Gah, put some clothes on people!  =)  Anyways, Jordan was amazing and gorgeous as hell and WOW it was just an awesome show.  I was slightly (a lot) disappointed that a lot of girls there didn't even know the words to any of the songs besides Give It To You though... even some of the nice older fans that I met outside and who had liked NKOTB back in the day... some of them didn't even have the album yet.  I was glad Jordan had all these fans there to support him but I was somewhat disappointed that lots of them hadn't even had enough faith to buy the album the day it came out like any Jordan-crazed fan would do.  Yeesh.  But anyways, that's another story.  Jordan was awesome tho, and I sung my heart out.  He looked at me a few times during the show *eep!* and gah, I can't even describe what it felt like for me to be looked at by Jordan Knight, a man who I think could raise the freakin' sun if he just sang to it, LOL.   Then after his performance the organizers *tried* to organize us by putting us into the batting cages (the venue was like an arcade/gyn/recreation sort of place) and Jordan went backstage to do an interview with The Latin Network.  Well, long story short, I barely made it into the line but I did sneak in (trust me, "sneak" is the right word, man i get the shakes just thinking how close i came to *not* getting in that line at all)... I feel badly for all the girls there who didn't get to meet him, Jordan only had about half an hour to sign autographs as opposed to the 60-90 minutesI think he'd scheduled for.  As I waited in line by myself (God I wished I'd had someone there to freak out with, LOL, I was beaming with this hugeass perma grin on my face, I tell ya'!! ahaha), I tried to catch a glimpse of Jordan but girls were always in front of him blocking my view.  I hear the girls in front of me trying to hide their cameras, but I couldn't hide mine so I just put it over my shoulder so they would know i wasn't trying to sneak any in, LOL.  I get up there and all of a sudden there is Jordan... I did want to take a picture then before I got to him, but I didn't want to startle him or do anything wrong so I didn't.  Plus the guy beside him took my CD cover to be autographed so he could just hand it to Jordan.  I had also wanted to say something to Jordan but I didn't know what (gots to be cool with him ya' know, LOL)... this problem was quickly solved as I saw how quickly they were trying to move girls through there, LOL - the guy would hand Jordan the item to be signed, he'd sign it, hand it back, say thanks or whatever, take the next thing to be signed, sign it, hand it back, say thanks, and yada yada... So I was disappointed that this would be so brief, but excited all the same - hell i was gonna get an autograph!!!  he was gonna touch my CD cover!!!  LMAO!!!  *grin*  I get up there, right in front of him... *pause*, I am probably grinning like a freakin' CLOWN, LMAO, i couldn't believe i was right freakin' two feet from Jordan.  Then he looks up at me.  His eyes, looking into mine.  *shakes head*... I don't even have the words...  He says hello and I say, um... something, I am so bad I can't remember a goddamn thing except how gorgeous he looked and that he looked into my eyes and said hello, how's it goin' or something like that.  He bends forward to sign my CD cover and I'm waiting and his friend on the other side of him all of a sudden pipes up "why don't you take a picture of Jordan signing that for you, wouldn't that be nice?"  I'm like WTF?!!  but being nervous, i laughed and said somethin' like "yeah i guess that WOULD be nice!"  ahaha, yeah i am so witty yes i know.  *yikes* lol.  So i back up a bit and try to focus the camera on Jordan but all I can see is his hair!  Like...  the very top of his head!  Again, I'm like WTF?... I sort of lift my camera a bit and try to sneak a peak at what the hell he's doin'... I don't want to take too long getting the picture but I'd also much rather look at his face than the top of his head, LOL...  So I resolve to just wait until he lifts it and take it then, but it was takin' so long (in my little timeless moment it took a long time, LOL, prolly it was like 5 seconds).  His friend though, musta been wondering what was taking so long too cuz he goes "whatcha' DOIN' man!?" and bends over Jordan's shoulder to see, and Miguel (behind Jordan) does the same, and all I hear is them go "aw, how cute!" and I'm like... uh uh... LOL, but right then Jordan looks up and laughs at them for saying that and I took the picture.  Here it is:

Jordan, aw yeah! =)

I am ecstatic because I love Jordan's laugh and smile and there he was doin' both right in front of me, even tho I didn't know why.  He looks at me tho, still smiling, and hands me my CD cover and I look at it... and see why...  LOL, it's so silly but he drew this little stickman kicking a ball up the wall in the background... well, see for yourself, here it is:

 =)

You can't see the little face on the stickman in this scanning of it, but he drew dots in for the eyes and nose too, LOL, and a little dot on the end of each limb!  Anyways, silly and small it may be, but it makes me very happy.  =)  I don't know if he drew it on anyone else's, he probably does it all the time, LOL, but i didn't see anyone else with it so you can imagine I was just flying!  I laughed when I looked at it though and looked back at him and he was laughing softly too and I said thanks and he said you're welcome, thank you, and he shook my hand and then I left. oh and i managed to tell him that he put on a great show too, lol.   I had to laugh at the people directing me out of the venue too cuz they had to have thought I was nuts, I could tell by the way they were looking at me with that huge perma-grin on my face.  But I couldn't help it, and I ran out to show my dad and when he saw he laughed and then was like "ok let's go".  ahaha, I guess he's not as big of a Jordan fan as I am!  LOL.  But he was good enough to take me there and wait all day so I was really happy.  This was two months ago, and as you can see I am STILL quite excitable about it, LOL...  It was one of the best days of my life, without doubt.  Jordan, I love ya' babe, thank you so much for everything, I hope you know exactly how much you've done means to me someday!
