Fridays are normally Brenda's days on the town. This Friday, however, she assured me that it was to be Janis' day, and she was true to her word!
I decided on a "Pretty in Pink" outfit, with a pink sweater and pink and mint green plaid skirt. I put on my clothes, makeup, and wig, carried my luggage to my rented car, and checked out. No one mentioned that I had appeared somewhat different when I had checked in!
Brenda met me at the motel in her car, and I followed her to a parking garage near where we would be later that evening. I parked my car there, and she then drove us to the Seattle Waterfront. We wandered around, and ate outdoors at a seafood restaurant there. Below are some pictures of us there.

We then drove to the nearby Pikes Market, a fabulous place with vendors selling fresh produce, flowers, fish, jewelry, and many other things. Both she and I purchased some jewelry there. My purchases included a pair of silver earrings with garnet stones and a matching ring, which the owner of the store sized for me.
Later in the evening we went to a meeting at the Ingersoll Center. Since I had a long drive to Olympia to make after the meeting, I did not join my friends for dinner that night. Instead, I headed down I-95, and after some searching, decided on spending the night at the Motel 6 in Tumwater. I checked in, under my male name and using my male identification. No one said anything about the discrepency between my name and my appearance! I drove around to the other side of the motel, went up to the room with my luggage, and set up my camera to take the picture of me shown below.
