MRS. JANE SWEET:
There passed away on Wednesday, Sept.8,
after a lingering illness, at her home in Goldboro,
Mrs. JANE SWEET, age 83 years, widow of STEVEN SWEET
and the last member of the late JOHN MacMILLAN family,
pioneer of Issac's Harbour.
Mrs. SWEET lived her entire married life in this community
and her loving disposition and charitable judgement of others
endeared her to the hearts of all, hence,
she will be greatly missed.
She leaves three sons and one daughter;
FRANK of Los Angeles, Calif.;
who spent the month of July with his mother;
WYLIE VINCENT of Wyoming;
IRENE (Mrs. Chas.Irwin), Saskatoon,Sask.;
and HAROLD, engineer Highways dept., Parrsboro, NS.
Also 12 grandchildren.
The funeral service was held on Friday afternoon,
her pastor Rev.Mr. Eugene Davis officiating.
Interment was in her lot in the Issac's Harbour cemetery.
