AULD'S COVE - Lawrence MacDonald, 87,
died Saturday in St. Martha's
Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Auld's Cove, he was a son of the late
John and Catherine (O'Brien)
MacDonald.
He was a retired engineer of the SS Scotia
and a member of St. Lawrence
church.
He is survived by one daughter, Etta, at home;
two brothers, Joseph and
Anthony, both of Auld's Cove.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elizabeth MacMillan,
four
sisters and four brothers.
The body is at Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
Funeral
service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday
in St. Lawrence Church, Mulgrave, Rev.
Paul MacDonald officiating.
Burial will be in church cemetery.
