Caledonia, Guys. Co., Sept 19, 1926.
Agnes MacQuarrie, formerly Cumminger,
wife of John MacQuarrie of Lower Caledonia,
one of the oldest and most respected residents of the community,
passed away at 94 years of age.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday,
Sept 18; and was conducted both at the house
and cemetery by Rev. H. Huggons Brown
of New Glasgow (minister in charge) and was largely attended.
The deceased is survived by her husband,
age 96, and by four sons----Sam at home;
William H. in California; Dan and Gordon both in Portland, Oregon.
The deceased was born at Aspen, Guysboro Co.,
and for many years was associated with the Presbyterian Church.
