The death occurred at Lower Caledonia, Guysboro Co.,
on Oct 10th of John A. MacQuarrie,
in the 99th year of his age.
Mr. MacQuarrie was a man of a kindly, cheerful disposition
and will be greatly missed by friends and neighbors.
His wife predeceased him some two years ago.
His surviving sons are Samuel on the homestead,
Wm. Hugh in California,
and Dan and Gordon in Portland, Oregon.
