MALLOY, Beulah Annette – 77,
South Lochaber, Guysborough Co., died June 10, 1995,
in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Antigonish.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late
William Lawrence and Laura May (MacDonald) Tanner.
Until recent years, she participated in her local church
and community; was active in the Women’s Institute
and The Red Cross. She was also church pianist,
Sunday school teacher and a member of
Women’s Ministry Group at Bethel Tabernacle., South Lochaber
and Full Gospel Church, Halifax. She was a member of
the women’s auxiliary of the local camp of Gideons International.
Surviving are a son, Eric, Dartmouth; daughters,
Ruth (Mrs. David Hunter), Mozambique; Rose (Mrs. Alvin Auton),
Karen (Mrs. Rob Wolf)(South Lochaber; Roberta (Mrs. Sandy Taylor), Nepean, Ont.;
18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
her husband Alexander James; sister, Muriel Laughlin.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m.
Tuesday both in Bethel Tabernacle, South Lochaber,
Rev. Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
Donations to Gideons International. Arrangements under
the direction of G.W. Giffin’s Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
