William James Keefe
Keefe, William James (Billy) – 62 –
Ecum Secum, died September 17, 1997,
in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour.
Born in Belleoram, NFLD., he was a son of
the late Jim and Hanna (Cluett) Keefe.
He was employed by the Canadian Coast Guard for 15 years
until his retirement in January 1997.
Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Fleet;
son, Lawrence (Bub); daughter, Amanda, both of Ecum Secum;
two grandchildren; brothers, Harry, Antigonish; Roy, Sackville;
sisters, Dora (Mrs. Stan Moulton), Giant’s Lake, Guysborough Co.;
Beatrice (Mrs. William Basset), Fairview Villa, Halifax.
He was predeceased by brother, Oscar.
Funeral was held in St. Barnabas Anglican Church,
Ecum Secum, Rev. David Curry officiating.
Burial in church cemetery. Donations to any charity.
