SHERBROOKE, Guysborough County – Wilfred L. Fraser, 89
of Sherbrooke, formerly of Waternish, Guysborough County
died Sunday in St. Mary’s Hospital here.
Born in Waternish, he was a son of the late
Alexander and Elizabeth (Duncan MacIntosh) Fraser.
He lived in Waternish most of his life
and operated a general store.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church
and Queen’s Masonic Lodge No. 34.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Florence MacLean,
five brothers and two sisters.
The body is in H.W. Angus’ Funeral Home, Stillwater,
Guysborough County. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today
in St. John’s United Church, Rev. Harry Disher officiating,
with burial in Waternish Cemetery.
