BICKERTON WEST – Mrs. Evelyn M. Sponagle, 64 of Bickerton West,
Guysborough County, died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital.
Born in New Harbour, Guysborough County,
she was a daughter of the late Garfield and Lila (Slater) Gammon.
She was an active member of Port Bickerton United Baptist Church.
Surviving besides her husband, Calvin, are two sons,
Gary, Lake Echo; and James, Wolfville;
a daughter, Gail (Mrs. David Smith), Louisville, KY.;
a sister Viola (Mrs. Ralph Mason), Halifax; five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother Bayne.
The body is in Port Bickerton United Baptist Church,
where services will be 1 p.m. Thursday,
Rev. Ralph Morris officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, New Harbour.
