Ruth Florence Webber - 74 from 35 Dover Ave. New Glasgow,
died March 24th 1995 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in North Intervale, Guysborough County,
she was a daughter of the late Heber and Charlotte (Aikens) Ferguson.
She was a retired school teacher,
having taught in Guysborough County
and a former employee of Goodman Company Ltd.
and Thompson & Sutherland Ltd., New Glasgow.
She was a member of Trinity United Church
and a staff sergeant in Pictou with the Canadian Militia.
She resided in North Intervale before moving to New Glasgow
40 years ago. Surviving are a son Alex,
at home, a sister Mary Fraser, Stellarton,
brothers; Thomas, New Glasgow; Fred, Dartmouth;
George, Antigonish; James , Westville. She was predeceased by
her husband, Lindsay C.; brothers Alex, Samuel,
John, sisters Nel, Viola, Dorothy, Elsie.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 2-4 pm Tuesday, followed by funeral
at 4 p.m. in H.W. Angus Funeral Home chapel.
Burial at a later date in Hillside Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
