McGRATH, James William Pearman (Willie) - 90,
Aspen, Guysborough Co., died November 8, 1998, at home.
Born in Aspen, he was a son of the late James and Adelia (McLaughlin) McGrath.
He was a retired labourer with Eddy Lumber Company
and a member of Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen.
Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie Langille;
sons, George, Fisherman's Harbour;
Blair,Camp Borden, Ont.;
Andy, Smithfield,
Douglas, Ricky, Hector, Aspen;
daughters, Marie (Mrs. Paul MacLennan), Aspen;
Katherine (Mrs. Calvin Simon), Aspen;
Martha Anne, Victoria;
brother, Ellis Sr.,Aspen;
sisters, Marie (Mrs. Aubrey Tate), Melrose;
Catherine (Mrs. Cecil Mills), St. Catharines, Ont.;
16 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Chester, Fraser,Freddy.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday,
funeral 3 p.m. Wednesday,
all in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen,
Rev. Ross Hamilton officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery,Aspen.
Donations to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital palliative care
or Homecare Nova Scotia,Sherbrooke office.
Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
