HILDA CATHERINE MEAGHER -- 89, Canso,
died Friday in the MacKaracher Nursing Home, Sherbrooke.
Born in Canso, she was a daughter of the late
James and Mary (Keating) Meagher.
She taught school for 13 years in New Waterford
and for several years in Canso.
The last surviving member of her family,
she was predeceased by a sister, Stella,
and two brothers, Bernard and Keating.
The body is in MacIsaac Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 12:10 p.m. today.
Burial will be in Star of the Sea Cemetery Canso, at a later date.
