E. L. DIGDON -- Halifax, April 15, 1967 --
Everett Leslie Digdon, 50,
died at the Halifax Infirmary, Thursday.
Born at Half Island Cove, Guysborough County, he was son of
Mrs. Dorothy and the late Samuel Digdon.
He resided in Halifax for the past 26 years
and worked for Acadian Lines for more than 20 years.
Since 1963, he and his brother Melvin
owned and operated Mont's Transfer Company.
Surviving are his mother in Fairview, his wife,
the former Lorraine Perrott, his son Lloyd, at home;
three brothers, Melvin, Armdale; Harold, Beaverbank;
Chester, Stewiacke; six sisters, Lola (Mrs. Cornelius MacPherson); Hazel (Mrs. Neil Johnson)
and Dorothy (Mrs. Donald James) all of Fairview;
Minnie (Mrs. Richard Fitzgerald) Halifax; Mable (sic) (Mrs. Laurie MacKenzie,
Stewiacke; and Helen (Mrs. Wallace Fraser) Nine Mile River.
The body is reposing at the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Armdale ,
where service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. George McGray officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville.
