NEW GLASGOW - Mrs. Irene MacAdam, 78
of 487 MacDonald St., New Glasgow, died
Friday at home.
Born in Sonora, Guysborough Co.,
she was the daughter of
William Henry and Lilias (Kingwell) Greene.
She was a member of St. George
Anglican Church
and a former member of the Guild Ladies Aid and choir mother
for the junior choir. She was a resident of MacDonald St.
for 65 years.
Surviving are a son, Dean, New Glasgow;
a sister, Mrs. Elsie Sinnis,
Halifax; and two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband George;
two sisters,
Margaret Ford (George) and Eva Miller (Wilbert).
The body will
be at the H. W. Angus Funeral Home
after 7 p.m. today. Funeral will be
Monday at 2 p.m.
in St. George's Anglican Church, Rev. Max Clattenburg
officiating.
Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to any charity.
